Travelling is, without any kind of doubt, an amazing experience. But packing too much for the road can burden you and it can add extra costs to your transportation (especially if you travel by plane). Unfortunately for us ladies, we all need to make sure we have the right items with us when on the road – because you never know where you have to go and you want to look adequate, right?
What should the essential travel packing list contain, ladies? We have gathered some of the most important tips for you to know – so read on if you want to find out more.
The bare necessities
When it comes to beauty items, remember to pack light. No, you don’t need every single shade of eye shadow and lipstick. You need a nude and a popping color one (such as a red lipstick). You need your shampoo and conditioner, you need your hair brush and your soap, you need some sort of moisturizer in a small container, a bit of powder, a bit of mascara and that’s about it.
The everyday outfit
Pack a pair of jeans and a pair of casual pants for the everyday outfits. Also, remember to bring a simple uni-color dress and some T-shirts. For the occasions when you need to be a bit dressier, pack a little black dress and a pair of stockings. Also, if you plan on visiting a country with a very warm climate, don’t forget to bring with you a pair of shorts as well.
For the chillier days, pack a nice 360 sweater that’s simple and elegant or something by Helene Berman if you’re craving a statement piece. You can pair it with the jeans and a simple T-shirt for a very casual look or with the little black dress for those special occasions, so it’s perfect when it comes to keeping you warm and in style.
Last, but definitely not least, pack at least a couple of sweaters as well, if you know the place you are visiting goes through the cold season and you will need this. If the temperature is very low, remember to take a comfortable coat or jacket with you too, so that you keep yourself appropriately warm.
DO NOT pack all of the shoes you own (that would most likely be highly impossible anyway). Bring a pair of sport or casual shoes with you, a pair of shoes for bad weather (such as knee-length wellies designed in a stylish way) and a pair of heels or dressy shoes as well. You really don’t need anything more – much less if you plan on staying away less than a few weeks.
The other stuff
Your luggage should also contain emergency items such as needles and string (in case anything tears apart), glue, pain killers (and any other kind of medication you may need), and so on. Think very well of the situations like this and pack lightweight items to save you from them, so that you truly enjoy your trip.
