Are you trying to figure out where to head away to next? Whether you’re planning a trip with friends, a family vacation or a special honeymoon get away, I have a wonderful suggestion for you. Why not head away on a cruise? Cruises offer you incredible value, a really relaxing holiday and a curated itinerary. If you’re considering a cruise, please read on to learn why they may be the perfect holiday for you!
1. Cruises Offer Incredible Value
You can find cruises at a variety of price points – from budget cruises to luxury cruises. If you’re looking for a good value holiday, then a cruise may surprise you. You can find many cruises that work out to be around $100 USD per day, or around £80 per day. It might seem very expensive, but when you consider that this includes all the entertainment on the cruise ship, your food your accommodation and your transport, it may be hard for you to find similar deals elsewhere. Most cruises allow you to visit a few countries at a time, and if you’re visiting islands often flying between them is incredibly expensive, so a cruise can be a much more economical way to visit them. One of my favourite things about a cruise is that you pay for it in advance and the only extras you need to spend money on is excursions, or alcohol! This makes budgeting for your trip so much easier. Not sure which cruise to check? Consider going on a Cruise and Maritime Voyages ship.
2. A Relaxing Holiday
One of the things I don’t enjoy about travelling is lugging all my bags around. This is so much worse if you’re traveling with kids and needing to carry extra stuff for them such as prams or car seats. I find cruises to be really relaxing because while your location changes frequently, your room does not. Meaning that you can unpack for the duration of the cruise and tuck your bags away, knowing you won’t have to deal with them until it’s time to go home. This leaves you with more time to spend with your loved ones, or lounging by the pool!
3. Everything’s Set For You
On a traditional holiday you have to decide where to go, where you’ll stay, how you’ll get between destinations and so on. With a cruise ship, almost every detail is set out for you. The hardest decision you will have is which restaurant to choose or which entertainment to enjoy. I love that everything is already taken care of so you can really focus on relaxing, enjoying the cruises expansive facilities and spending quality time with your friends and family.
