Drive on the Chuysky Trakt for the history that comes along with this ancient trade route. Make sure to spend plenty of time in Moscow, where you can visit the House of Writers and Leo Tolstoy’s Estate Museum. Also take a day or two to explore St. Petersburg and visit the Literary Memorial Museum of Fyodor Dostoevsky, or walk past his apartment by Sennaya Square. On your way from Moscow to St. Petersburg stop at Klin to visit the Demyanovo Estate where poet Alexander Pushkin stayed, and visit the poet’s museum in Torzhok along the way.
England’s Harry Potter Road Trip
Though England is a popular tourist destination, many trips are confined to London.
